The workshop was held on Sunday 29th April in San Jose.
The morning session of the workshop was a practical exercise in San jose called Mission XXXX or 'find eric'.
We recorded the encounters that happened during this exercise in many ways. One of these was geotagged photos. These can be viewed here:

In the afternoon we had individual presentations, and then a group discussion around four themes, which mirrored the topics brought up in the papers:
Social glue: community building
Transmission of knowledge: sharing of experience
Settings: negotiation and noticing
Visibility: displaying presence and privacy issues
We concluded with an run through of the discussions and a summary.
The general workshop aims were:
* To bring together a multi-disciplinary group of researchers and practitioners to discus how situated computing is integrated into the social and physical space.
* To elaborate new methods and models in design practice that can accommodate designing interactive systems for in-situ use.
* To extend the discourse of locative rich media and their relationship to physical space and practices as continuous dialogue.
* To develop an agenda for future collaborations, research and design in the area of situated computing and shared encounters.
* To publish the results on academic venues (e.g. journals), electronic mediums (e.g. MEDIACITY website) and industry press.
Just because the workshop is over, doesn't mean it's the end of the discussion!
The workshop organiser's will be working on the next steps for the outcomes of the day. This will be developed as an ongoing process, and with the involvement of the workshop participants.
